Also don't miss Crazy Hot , the latest Au Pairs book and Angels on Sunset Boulevard , also by De La Cruz. In Angels on Sunset Boulevard a mysterious web site leads to a secret club. Everybody wants to get in, but the club hides a dark secret of drugs, kidnapping and maybe even murder.

Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult . The super-hot author has produced her most powerful book yet. Nineteen minutes can change your life, that's how long it takes for a school shooting to occur. Picoult takes a violent incident and examines it from all sides, the victims, the shooter, and the parents. It's a powerful book with no easy answers.

Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett

On to less depressing books. If you're tired of waiting for a certain boy wizard to finish up his adventures you might want to check out Terry Pratchett's Tiffany Aching series. This is the third in the series and they just keep getting better. When she was nine Tiffany outwitted the queen of the fairies. When she was eleven she fought a monstrous evil that tried to possess her body and soul. Now she's thirteen and facing her most dangerous challenge: boys. Of course it's not just any guy who's interested in her, oh no, that would make her life too simple. The living spirit of Winter has a thing for her and is going to keep the world frozen forever until she gives in to him. To get out of this one she's going to need help from the Wee Free Men , the rowdiest, smelliest bunch of pictsies who ever stole a sheep.

Avalon High by Meg Cabot

Ellie transfers into a new school and notices a strange parallel between the students and the myths of King Arthur. Can modern teens write a new ending to the tale, or are they doomed to live out the whole Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot love triangle that ended so badly the first time around. It's soon to be a graphic novel, and hey, it's by Meg ( Princess Diaries) Cabot, so you can't go wrong.

True Talents by David Lubar

The long awaited sequel to Hidden Talents finds the kids from Edgewood Alternative School learning to cope with their powers while trying to lead normal lives. Unfortunately an evil organization is interested in finding out about psychic powers, and are willing to do anything to get it.

Maximum Ride: Saving the World and other Extreme Sports by James Patterson

The kids from True Talents aren't the only young people with special powers. In the Maximum Ride series we're introduced to kids who are part bird and can fly. As they race towards their destiny in this final book they'll have to fly higher and faster than ever before.

Look for The Pilgrims of Rayne the latest in the Pendragon series as well as The Perfect Boy , the latest from Hailey Abbott. There's also new entries in the Gossip Girl , It Girl , and Clique series soon to come. The very hot Private series by Kate Brian also continues.
