Teen Book Reviews Humor Gender Blender by Blake Nelson. Reviewed by Leyna Le, age 15. This book is about two old friends, Tom and Emma, who have drifted apart into their preteen cliques, "boys" and "girls". Then an accident occures where they switch bodies, and what follows is a chaotic and funny comedy. I enjoyed this book and if I had to rate it, I would give it three out of five stars. The Principal "the deer in the headlights" brings a new girl to the class, "the dim bulbs." They can't seem tonickname her. But finally they named her.
