2008 Woonsocket Harris Public Library Poetry Contest

Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, and Adult

To honor National Poetry Month in April, the Woonsocket Harris Public Library is sponsoring its annual poetry contest. Poems may be submitted at the library from April 1st to April 25th. There is a limit of 2 submissions per person. Submissions will be accepted by mail, email, fax, or in person. Entries for grades 6 & up must be typed. Please include name, address, and phone number. Students should also include their grade, school, and teacher's name. First, second and third place winners in each category will receive prizes and will be featured at our Open Mike Poetry Night on Tuesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. For more information, please call 769-9044 or 767-4122.
