Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

I read a book titled Little Women . In this book a girl named Jo is the main character. She is a fun, lovable tomboy who loves to read. Meg is the prettiest girl and also the oldest of the three sisters. Beth is a shy girl who loves music. Amy loves to draw and is the youngest of the sisters. Their father went off to war and they have to fend for themselves. I think you should read this book because it is fun to read about the sisters' lives during the Civil War.

On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer

I read a book titled On My Honor . It is about a boy named Joel who breaks a promise and something terrible happens to his friend, they both go to the Vermillion River and his friend disappears. I recommend this book because it seems that it could happen to anybody and it makes you think what you would do in Joe's situation.
