Tea Party for Children in grades K-5

Bring your favorite tea cup and saucer 

Sample some teas and tea cakes

We will have a TEAriffic time!

Limited to 20 people. 

Sign up with Margaret by January 17 by calling 401-767-4126 

Leave your name (both student and adult) student age, a phone number

and additionally an email so that we may have 2 ways to contact you in case of bad weather

An adult caregiver must attend with children.

**Please notify when signing up if you or the student have food allergies.**

Organizing for Teens

Organizing in RI presents a program for students in middle and high school on how to organize.

For students that stay for the whole program we will have a random prize drawing for  Dunkin Donut gift cards and other random prizes.

Native Wildlife

Jane Dening talks with families about and show pictures of  native wildlife in the area. 

This program does not necessarily include a live animal.

Great for ages 4 and up with adult.

Children must be with an adult at all times for safety.

Native American Culture

Kristen Webb talks about Native American Culture and brings a lot of items families can see and touch.

Cupcake Decorating

Great for ages 8  and up.

We provide the cupcakes and the decorations.

Registration is required so we have enough for all participants.

There are no nuts in this program however some items may be manufactured in a place that processes other foods.

Please let us know if your child has a food allergy upon sign up. 

There is no eating of the cupcakes in the library. They must be taken home for eating.


Animal Experiences

Dave Marchetti of Animal Experiences will bring a variety of animals.

Great for all ages.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times for safety.

Indian Henna for Teens

This program is a workshop for teens in middle or high school!

Students who sign up for this program will be randomly chosen to  participate as henna students guided by experts in design making and use of the cones to make henna. Students who are not chosen but remain for the program may watch the students learn henna and will be notified when the next henna program is scheduled.

Warm and Fuzzy Animals

Nancy's Warm and Fuzzy Animals 3:30-4:30

Ms. Nancy may bring in a tortoise, chicken, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats and more

She will talk about how she cares for her animals and answer any questions you might have

Mad Science Show

Monday February 19th at 2pm  (Library is open on President's Day)

Mad Science will present a science show for families.Great for ages 4 and up with a parent. 

Free Tickets will be available starting Monday February 12th.

We give out tickets so we do not exceed space requirements in the room.
