Additional Services Provided To The Public

Below are services available to the public in addition to our services which are detailed in their respective pages. Expand each service box to read specifics about each.

Document
Faxing

Available for $1.75 for the first page, and $1.00 for each additional page for sending, and $.50 per page for receiving. The library’s fax number is 401-767-4120. Faxing is available as cash transactions only at the Circulation Desk.

Genealogical Assistance

Our reference staff will provide assistance in your search in person, by telephone and email.

Photocopying
Services

Black and white photocopies are available at $.20 per page. Color copies are $.30 per page. Double sided copies are cost per page. Copy sizes are 8 1/2 x 11 or 8 1/2 x 14.

Project
LEARN

Project LEARN offers English as a Second Language classes, GED classes and family literacy. Their main office is located at 55 Main Street, and the phone number is 769-4200.

Quiet
Study Rooms

One quiet study rooms is available for up to 4 people. To reserve the room, please contact the Reference Desk at 767-4124.

Display
Cases

To request to have a collection or project displayed for a month in one of the library’s display cases, please call Library Director Leslie Page at 769-9044.

Art
Displays

The library is available to display the work of local artists upon request. Please contact the director for more information at 769-9044.

Register
to Vote

You can register to vote at any time during operating hours at the library. See the Circulation Desk for forms.

Notary
Public

NOTARY HOURS ARE CHANGING EFFECTIVE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2024: A Notary Public will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 am, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. On Tuesdays and Fridays, a Notary is available from 9:30-11:30am and 2-4pm. The Saturday service is available from 9:30-11:30am.

Please call ahead at 401-769-9044 to make sure a notary is available for assistance. The service is free of charge. Must bring valid form of photo identification and the person signing the document must be present and sign in  front of the notary.
