THE FRIENDS OF THE WHPL BASKETS FOR BOOKS RAFFLE
 
The Friends of the Library are gathering together an array of fantastic gift baskets which will be raffled off at an Open House at the library on Wednesday, December 10th from 6-8pm. Baskets will be available for viewing starting Thursday, November 13th and tickets will also be available for sale on this day. Tickets are $2.00 each, with 4 chances to win a basket! If you would like to make any donations to the baskets, please contact Library Director Leslie Page at 401-769-9044 or 767-4125.
 
 
 
 
The Friends of the Library are a fund raising and volunteer support group for the Library. Friends operate an ongoing used book sale at the front of the library. Money raised by the Friends of the Library is distributed to the Library to support programs, projects, and passes that might not otherwise be funded. Friends of the Library support the library through volunteering, outreach, and fundraisers.
 
Friends of the Library is an organization committed to creating public support and awareness of the Library and its programs. Yearly memberships are available for individuals, students, seniors, and benefactors. Those interested in Friends of the Library can call 401-769-9044  for more information.
 
There is a general meeting for all Friends of the Library members in every first Thursday evening of every month at 7pm in the main conference room.
